Dr. Carl Panzarella’s top priorities are patient comfort and satisfaction. He is interested in serving Largo, Florida and surrounding areas. He works to have your smile look its very best and to create a friendly dental environment in which his patients can relax and feel welcome. The practice philosophy is based upon the importance of dental health and how this relates to over all health. It has become clear over the last several years how dental problems can contribute to one’s other medical problems. Extensive training combined with over 25 years of experience in dentistry helps our practice deliver on these priorities.
As a Largo Dentist, Dr. Panzarella has worked and trained to build a practice that exceeds your expectations of trusted, first-rate dental care. He focuses on bringing his patients the best that dentistry has to offer by keeping himself and his staff informed on the very latest advances and techniques. Dr. Panzarella grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, near the Chesapeake Bay, where he developed his love of boating, fishing, and flying. He holds a pilot’s license and still enjoys flying and fishing whenever he can.
Dr. Panzarella graduated from Loyola College in Maryland in 1972, and taught high school chemistry before entering dental school. He earned his dental degree in 1981 from the University of Maryland Dental School, (the first dental school in the world). He and his wife Kathy then relocated to Florida where they raised their four children.
Dr. Panzarella is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has done additional training in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. In addition to this training, he has taken numerous continuing education courses including an orthodontic program at the United States Dental Institute. These courses keep him current on the very latest advances in dentistry so he can give you, his patients the very best that modern dentistry has to offer.
His wife cares for patients as an RN in the open-heart surgical intensive care unit at Morton Plant Hospital. Their oldest son is a Naval Aviator. Their second son works in construction management in New York City. Son number three is an architecture student at University of Florida (Go Gators!) And finally, but definitely not the least, their daughter is a local high school student.
